口语第 2 题

1. Agree or disagree: young children shouldlearn to draw or paint. Include details and

examples to support your answer.

2. Do you agree or disagree with thefollowing statement? Playing computer or video games

4. When things at home such as furniture orelectrical appliances are broken, some people

prefer to have them repaired in a shop,while others prefer to fix them at home. Which do

you prefer and why?

Comparing with the two, I’d like to fixthem by myself, and there are two reasons.

First, fixing goods by me can save a vastamount of money. No matter which kind of goods broke,

it has to cost more or less a certainamount of money. But by taking this task by yourself, you will  

find this is the most economic way.

Second, you can gain practical knowledgefrom fixing goods. It has to be something wrong with

its system. So during the fixing, you willunderstand the principle of it. In light of this, you will

know how to deal with it if it is brokennext time.    

5. Which is better for children? To grow upin a big city or to grow up in a small town?

television is not a good use of time.

Personally, I don’t think an artist needsto be gifted. There are two reasons. First, not everyone in

this world has talent, in my opinion; hardwork can make up for a lack of intelligence. Tomas

Edison once said “Genius is 1% inspirationand 99% perspiration”, this sentence could fully

address the importance of hard work.Second, if an artist abuses his/her talent, no matter how

much he/she is gifted, the talent would bewasted. So I hold the strong belief that to be gifted is

not a must, as long as you work hard,everyone could be successful.
