Integrated writing

在本次写作考试中，综合写作还是常规题目，难度一般。阅读文章讨论了three methods to deal with rootworms, 三个方法分别是：

1.to kill the rootworms by pesticides, b can also fertilize the soil and improve yield.

2.the farmers can plant corn crops ealier so that the rootworm will not eat the mature root of corn crops, which is unappealing to rootworm.

3.the farmers can alternates the plants.

在听力文章里，说话人反驳了阅读文章的观点，他说those three methods cannot handle this question.

要点分别是：

1. Not all root worm can be killed. Some of them are pesticide-resistant, they will survive and reproduce quickly. So their descendants will be pesticide-resistant.

2. If planting in the spring, the plants may come across bad weather like frozen and snow storm. As a result, the loss by rootworm is the same as the loss due to the bad weather.

3.rootworms have developed their strategy. Their eggs can live in the soil for two years and be hatched until the next year when planting the corn crops. Then the rootworm will grow in large population, resulting more damage.

本次独立写作的题目相对来说简单了许多，题目是：

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should take several different kinds of job before they take a career in a long term. 重复2011.3.26ML

在这里笔者给到几个观点，以供大家参考。

1.taking different jobs is beneficial for people to accumulate enough experience about the job they will take on in a long term.

2.people can figure out where their interests lie by trying different jobs.

3.people can make friends with people from various fields, which is helpful for them to enlarge their social circles.
